As per our discussion at the annual meeting with James from Pond & Lake, the MCA filed a new permit with DEC and has been approved for additional treatment in the West basin (big lake) only. The additional area will be by the boat launch, the cove by the cemetery and some spot treatment where treatment was missed. This is at no additional cost to the MCA. James will be here on Monday to do the treatment. There will be no treatment to the East basin (small lake).
As per the previous email that went out in January, there are no restrictions except for human consumption where the lake is your sole source of drinking water.
